This intermediate hike is 8 miles (13km) oundtrip, and you will gain 1,700 feet (518m) elevation (hike will go from about 9,200 feet [2,804m] to 10,900 feet [3,322m] elevation).

During the trip, you’ll have the chance to stop by and visit the Deadman Lookout Tower. Climb up 72 steps to ride 55 feet (17m) in the air (elevation at the top of the tower is 10,765 feet [3,281m]). On a clear day, views extend up to 100 miles (160km) to the north.
