Spanish & Culture Immersion — Fall 2026
Immerse yourself in a one-of-a-kind opportunity to learn Spanish and experience Mexican culture at Colorado State University’s Todos Santos Center in Baja California Sur, Mexico.
This fully guided program is designed for CSU staff, faculty, and community members who want to improve their Spanish for professional, academic, or personal growth—while living and learning in a culturally rich environment.
Program Dates (Fall 2026)
Online Instruction (via Zoom): October 13 – 29, 2026
- Build your foundation with a 3-week online component before traveling.
In-Person Immersion in Todos Santos: October 31 – November 8, 2026
- Spend Día de los Muertos in Mexico while practicing Spanish daily through immersive learning and cultural experiences.
Program Cost: $2,300 USD
Costs Include
- Course instruction (3-week online program + in-person immersion at CSU Todos Santos)
- All course materials
- Lodging (on-campus rooms with ensuite bathrooms and A/C)
- Meals (most breakfasts and lunches, plus a welcome dinner)
- Excursions
- 1-night stay in El Triunfo (including a mining tour and cemetery visit)
- 1-night stay at Rancho Cacachilas
- Roundtrip ground transportation to program excursions
Costs Exclude
- Roundtrip airfare and travel costs to Todos Santos
- Roundtrip airport transportation (referrals available)
- Tips for guides/activities
- Some meals (all dinners except the welcome dinner; Sunday breakfasts and lunches)
- Taxi services if you prefer riding instead of walking into town
